Behavior Interventionist Position

Anderson Behavior Consulting is looking for a full or part time Behavior Consultant or Behavior Analyst contractor to provide high quality home based behavior support services to autistic children and their families. Hiring for the Kamloops and Okanagan areas. 


Job Role:

  • Conducting skills assessments, 
  • Training and coaching parents and behavior interventionists, 
  • Monitoring client progress, designing programs, writing behavior support plans/programs, and conducting observations in school and community settings.
  • Material creation, and organizing data collection systems.


What We're Looking For: 

  • Someone who has or is close to attaining board certification as a behavior analayst (BCBA) or assistant behavior analyst (BCaBA.) 
  • Has 2 + years experience as a senior behavior interventionist or junior behavior consultant.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  •  Passion for helping others and making a difference in the lives of neurodiverse individuals.
  • Values a trauma informed and neurodiverse affirming approach to services.
  • Value life long learning and collaboration.
  • Desire to work on a team with other caring and committed service providers.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or a Master's Degree in behavior analysis or a related field. 

Hours & Pay

  • 10 - 40 hours/week.
  • $45 - $85/hour. Based on experience and education.
     

Behavior Interventionist Position

Behavior Interventionist Position

Anderson Behavior Consulting is looking for a 1:1 tutor/behavior interventionist (BI) contractor to work with our wonderful clients in the Okanagan and Kamloops area.


Job Role: 

  • Working 1:1 with children in home and community settings on learning goals related to: language, play, executive functioning, academics, life skills, social emotional skills, and regulation. 
  • You will receive ongoing training and support from the family's behavior consultant and ABC's clinical director. 


What We're Looking For: 

  • Someone energetic, creative, and reliable who enjoys spending time with children and learning. 
  • We require someone who has their own vehicle to travel to and from sessions. 
  • Clear criminal record check to work with vulnerable populations.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • 18+ in age.

Job Type
