Neurodiversity Affirming Practices
We strive to provide ABA programming that is inclusive and affirming. We are committed to listening, learning, and adapting to the changes advocated for by the autistic community.
Collaboration
At ABC we work as a team! We work with our clients, their families and other service providers to provide the best care possible within the limits of MCFD’s autism funding. We believe that parents make the best teachers and that it’s so impotant that they are involved in the child’s ABA program.
Assent Based Practices
Our practice focuses on understanding and respecting what assent looks like for each of our clients. It’s very important that our clients are very involved in planning what their services looks like and that they are happy and excited to learn with us.
Continuing Education
Our consultants are vigorously trained in the science of behavior and learning. We strive to keep up to date with advances both within behavior analysis/child development and advances in
other fields related to our services. We also strive to learn from the lived experience of the autistic community and their families.
