Sexual Health Education and Consultations

Kathleen Hare (she/her) is a BCBA who has worked with Anderson Behaviour Consulting in the Yukon Territory and on Vancouver Island. She has recently completed her Sexual Health Educator Certificate coursework and is now offering consultation to the Anderson Behaviour Consulting team, clients and families! She provides virtual support and program development to team members, families and clients in a variety of areas including healthy sexual development, consent and body autonomy, safety skills, healthy relationships, puberty and healthy sexual decision-making. 

As a behaviour analyst, Kathleen is most interested in building environments that celebrate and support neurodiversity and providing values-based programs that support language, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy. She is committed to learning from and incorporating neurodivergent voices and collaborating with clients, caregivers and other professionals to provide a person-centered approach that is culturally aware, trauma-informed and grounded in compassionate care. Having grown up in the Yukon, she is passionate about providing quality care to rural areas. By pursuing further education and certification in sexual health education, Kathleen is committed to supporting each person's right to comprehensive and empowering sexual health education.
